About Australian Global Migration Service

Our Credentials

Alan Musgrave is the Principal of Australian Global Migration Services. He entered the legal profession in 1967, became qualified as a lawyer in 1973, has been a principal in private practice between 1974 and 2004 when he retired from full-time law. Alan was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Courts of New South Wales and Queensland in 1973 and 1993 respectively and has been predominantly practising in the areas of land law, estates, commercial law and since 2000 in migration law. He has also been admitted as a solicitor of the High Court of Australia. Apart from his legal qualifications Alan holds a Masters degree in Business from Deakin University in Victoria which he gained in 1994. He received his commission as a Public Notary from the Court of Faculties in London in 1986 but no longer practises as a Notary. He a Justice of the Peace (Qualified) and has been a Registered Migration Agent No.0000997 since 2000.

Without having the need to charge "lawyer's prices" Alan believes that he brings to the migration advice profession a comprehensive experience in the law and business having been a principal in a six partner practicein New South Wales and more lately his own practice in Queensland. Alan has also developed high rise residential buildings on the Sunshine Coast and is a member, and past Chairman, of the Maroochy Economic Advisory Board. Alan has an extremely wide base of contacts in business, industry and government and is able to give added value to his clients without the additional expense.

Our success rate is the envy of the migration profession. For instance we have never lost an appeal and the only refused visa application in the 3 years to September 2006 was due to the withdrawal of an application due to a death in the applicant's family. Our success is due wholly to the attention to detail and the way in which our applications are presented to the Department and with an appreciation of the appropriate and complex web of Regulations the Delegates from the Department have to address.

We have handled clients from England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Denmark, Hong Kong, Iraq, Kazakstan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Papua Guinea, Philippines, Russia, Uruguay, United States of America, Zambia and Zimbabwe and the list grows daily.

Our many satisfied clients realise that with some of the toughest migration laws on earth the migration application process is more than just form filling. Australian Government policy alters very frwquently and those changes are reflected in constant changes to migration laws as reflected in the Migration Series Instructions and the Delegates Procedures Advice Manual as well as the Migration Act and the Regulations. In summary whilst an applicant is not obligued to use a migration agent a propective "Aussie" cannot afford not to do so especially given the effect that a refused application may have on any future application. Are not yours and your family's future worth the small fee payable to give you the best chance possible?

At Australian Global Migration Services we give you that best chance.
