FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How will I know
the right visa to apply for?
It’s our job to know, when our specialist advisors consider your
pre-application assessment, you will be considered against all 148 visa
subclasses and the most appropriate visa will be recommended to you.
Can I change the
information provided on my initial assessment form?
Yes, often clients estimate their net worth or other information and later
discover that the information was incorrect, if an assessment response
has already been received you should submit a new and complete form.
How can I
be sure that my privacy will be protected?
As a professional company, we are committed to protecting the privacy
of our clients and other persons. To reinforce this commitment, AGMS recognises
and is legally bound by the National Privacy Principles as detailed in
the Commonwealth Privacy Act.
How do I pay
for the service I have chosen?
We offer the ability to pay us in three (3) easy payments spread over the period in which we prepare your application. We understand that with the cost of everyday living that moving to a new country can be costly. It is our intention that you have every opportunity to increase your chances of successfully applying for migration.
Why are fees
charges in Australian dollars?
To have some consistency for all of our overseas clients it is convenient
for all to select the Australian currency for
internet payments, particularly all fees payable to our immigration authority is in that currency. If you would like to see what
the charges are in your local currency please go to our currency converter
webpage at http://www.oanda.com/convert/classic
Are there additional fees and charges for
preparing my visa?
No, except for charges made by DIMA and medical, police check and other charges outside of our control, all professional fees are detailed in a Fee Proposal agreed by you before commencing work on your application.
Unless there is significant work to be done that was not told to us at
consultation the fee will not change. If additional work as described
above is identified, you will be consulted before any additional costs
are incurred and the additional work commenced. When comparing fees however please remember that the Australian dollar is worth less on a dollar for dollar basis than the Euro or US dollar.
How do I know if you have received my fee
payment?
As soon as your payment is received, a confirmation email will be sent
to your email address.
Do I really need specialised immigration
assistance?
Australian Immigration Laws are some of the most complicated in the world
with many thousands of applications are held over or refused every year.
Many self-acting applicants fail in their attempts to apply for a visa
to Australia. Seeking experienced professional immigration advice and
assistance is an investment in not only your future but is an insurance
against unnecessary delays and refusals, as well as saving you from wasting
several thousands of dollars in application fees from failed self-prepared
applications. If the system was simple or was just a form-filling exercise (which it isn't), the failure rate would not be
that high for self-acting applicants.
Is Australian Global Migration Services
registered to provide immigration advice?
Australian Global Migration Services specialist advisors are experts in
Australian Immigration procedure, that is all they do. They are registered
with The Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA) which is an Australian
Government statutory body which regulates the activities of all migration
consultants who provide immigration advice.
To maintain registration with MARA, our
advisors are required by law to undergo continuous professional development
in order to maintain current knowledge of Australian immigration laws,
legislation and policy. In addition to this AGMS maintains a library of
the latest legislation and policy changes that may affect not only your
possible application but any application that has already been lodged.
